Cancellation by you:

Please notify us in writing if you decide to cancel your holiday. Cancellation takes effect from our receipt of your written notice. The following cancellation fees apply:

• From the time of booking until 30 days before departure: loss of your deposit
• Between 30 and 15 days before departure: 50% of trip cost
• Less than 15 days before departure, and after commencement of the tour: 100% of the trip cost

We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you take out travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.

Cancellation by us:

We reserve the right to cancel a trip if there are too few people booking on a trip. In this case we will notify you as soon as we can, if possible by the time your balance payment is due, and your deposit will be refunded.

Route changes or delays:

We reserve the right to make changes to the route for safety reasons, or to improve the quality of a trip. Possible reasons include, but are not restricted to, weather conditions, political or legal restrictions, and delayed transport. Route changes are at the discretion of the guide and Alternatif Turizm, and no refund is available in the event of route changes.

Items not included in our price:

1. Travel to and from the meeting point
2. Airport transfers unless specified
3. Any meals not specified in the itinerary
4. Emergency evacuation charges
5. Personal travel insurance and medical expenses
6. Items of a personal nature
7. Gratuities / tips
