From the coastal plain you can see the hazy outlines of mountains inland of increasing height. The snow-melt and run off from these have carved deep canyons and river valleys into the landscape. Today, in spite of the dry conditions in a typical Turkish summer and heavy use for irrigation, water continues to flow down these mountains all year round.
Alternatif Outdoor offers one-day trips in two very different canyons as an exceptional way of keeping cool on hot summer days. Whether you follow a natural water course up or down the mountain, you are sure to enjoy dipping in the crystal clear pools and climbing over boulders in your day of guided canyoning.

An enjoyable canyoning trip for anyone who is keen to scramble over rocks and plunge into icy spring water. On the hottest of days, you can escape the power of the sun when walking in the shade of pine and liquid amber trees.
Will you be able to resist the temptation to leap into the frequent pools? Go as far as you want.
This trip runs on demand as a day trip (minimum 4 people), and as part of our 'Adventure Week' multi-activity programme. |

" This was a really amazing day of mountains, abseiling, swimming through crystal clear pools of freezing water and scramblingover rocks.A must for everyone. The best bit was the extra abseil when we found that the bridge across the gorge had disappeared. They also organise the best packed lunch I have ever had!" |
