From the coastal plain you can see the hazy outlines of mountains inland of increasing height. The snow-melt and run off from these have carved deep canyons and river valleys into the landscape.
Today, in spite of the dry conditions in a typical Turkish summer and heavy use for irrigation, water continues to flow down these mountains all year round.

Toparlar Day Trip

An enjoyable canyoning trip for anyone who is keen to scramble over rocks and plunge into icy spring water. On the hottest of days, you can escape the power of the sun when walking in the shade of pine and liquid amber trees. Will you be able to resist the temptation to leap into the frequent pools? Go as far as you want.

Hells Canyon Day Trip

This is a more technical canyoning trip in a less accessible area. It is suitable for those who have experienced Toparlar Canyon and are keen to challenge themselves further. It includes roped climbs, carrying of gear, and a river crossing. We will be walking in the stream for much of the canyon section.

This was a really amazing day of of mountains, abseiling, swimming through crystal clear pools of freezing water and scramblingover rocks.  A must for everyone. The best bit was the extra abseil when we found that the bridge across the gorge had disappeared. They also organise the best packed lunch I have ever had!
